I'm not sure who was more excited about getting this DVD in the mail, me or Bryan. I loved the first Curious George and the music from it. But Bryan LOVES George. We have this one large board book of Curious George and its one of a very few in our house that without actual abuse is about to fall apart just from being so loved. (Note, this is NOT because we don't read but because we have soooo many books that it takes a really special book to be used that much.)
As soon as I opened it, Bryan yelled, "My monkey," and stole it from me. Of course then there was an issue with the DVD player and I thought he was going to have a break down until we started the movie. He was so stinkin' cute watching it too and would get mad at the scenes without George in them. The very first thing the next morning he was asking to watch "Monkey George" again.
And as much as I missed my Jack Johnson music, it was still a super cute movie and we'll be watching it many more times for sure. The older boys (6 and 7) got just as into it as Bryan. So it truly is a great family movie!!
And to make the DVD even sweeter, the extra features include two bonus episodes of the TV show.
